The Gulf of Mexico Foundation offers two cruises for K-12 and college-entry educators nationwide every summer, the "Down Under, Out Yonder" and the "Intracoastal Waterway Wetlands CruiseDUOY - Carrie Robertson photo."

Down Under, Out Yonder (DUOY), July 10-14, 2010, is a five-day workshop that includes two days of on-land coral reef education, followed by three days of scuba diving aboard a live-aboard vessel.

For the second year this summer, GMF will offer the Intracoastal Waterway Wetlands Cruise (IWWC), June 14-18, 2010, which will take educators on a wetlands exploration aboard a live-aboard vessel up the Intracoastal Waterway from Freeport, Texas, to Port Fourchon, Louisiana. ConocoPhillips is the main sponsor for the IWWC.

For more information on either workshop, please contact the GMF at info@gulfmex.org or (361) 882-3939.
